Claire B. ★★★★★ Sep 13, 2026

I’ve been feeding it for a week and the jar’s design makes it so easy to keep the starter healthy—the measurements and airflow are spot on. Everything I need is right there, so I’m not scrambling for extra tools. My first loaf came out tangier than anything from a store-bought mix.

I was nervous about killing my first starter, but the kit’s carefully designed jar makes feeding and monitoring so intuitive that I’ve actually kept it alive for three weeks now. The included components are exactly what you need without any guesswork, and the whole process feels foolproof.

The jar itself is so thoughtfully designed—everything fits together perfectly and makes feeding the starter feel almost effortless. I love that every essential component is included right in the kit, so I didn’t have to hunt down anything extra. My starter came alive on the third day and I’m honestl
